This is WHO WE ARE
I started “Barndos & More” months after I built my own barndo in Rockdale, TX. I discovered that I had a TRUE passion for building these buildings and all of my skills that I had learned over the years all fell into place.
At that time, I was still working in Austin for a commercial property management company and oversaw multiple buildings. My determination was growing daily to give this a shot. I published the website and a little advertising on social media and got my first contract about 6 months after I moved into my barndo.
I was so scared and so excited at the same time and knew I was going in the direction that was planned for me! I love working with the customers from the very beginning all the way to move in! I realize how hard they have worked to get to this point and I’m here to help them make their dreams come to reality.
Along the way, I have learned MANY lessons and I wouldn’t change any of it. There were lots of frustrating times but a lot of exciting times. I feel the whole team takes a lot of pride in their work. Everyone is a local sub-contractor that has many years of experience in their trade. I couldn’t do this without them! They are amazing!
Latest and greatest addition to the team is Sabrina Sweeney – my daughter. She is very intelligent, organized, funny, caring – a perfect mixture for this company! She is the Project Manager along with me. She worked in the “vet” field for many years and has now taken a career turn! I also have two sons – one married and living in Dallas – a project manager. Other also married living in Hutto and a self-employed machinist. These kids are my first (best) accomplishments by FAR.
I want to give you your custom home for a non-custom price. I want you and your family to absolutely LOVE your place and make wonderful memories there! I don’t want to be a huge corporation, I want to continue to be able to give personal attention to each and every customer that crosses my path.

Barndos & More Standard Package for the home portion include foundation pad prep, concrete slab, stained floors, spray foam insulation, PEX plumbing, granite counter tops, custom cabinets, 9’ ceilings, knotty pine solid wood interior doors, wooden front door, steel exterior doors, fixture allowance, LED lighting, HVAC, Inside Electrical, Framing, and much more.
